We are pleased to announce that the 14th European Conference on Health Promotion in Prisons will take place for the first time in Luxembourg on June 11–12, 2026, with a dedicated pre-program on June 10, 2026.
Under the theme “Prevention & Treatment – In Safe Hands!”, the conference will focus on strengthening healthcare systems within correctional settings while ensuring safety, quality of care, and professional collaboration.
This international event will bring together healthcare professionals, social workers, prison administrators, policymakers, and researchers from Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, and Switzerland, as well as other European partners. Participants will have the opportunity to:
Exchange professional experiences
Discover innovative care and prevention models
Explore the latest scientific developments
Discuss practical challenges in correctional healthcare
The pre-program on June 10 will include thematic site visits to correctional facilities and additional professional exchange opportunities.
